OLIVER GLASNER and Julen Lopetegui are frontrunners for the Nottingham Forest job if Steve Cooper is sacked.

That's according to bookmakers Ladbrokes, who've updated the latest betting odds with Cooper currently the odds-on favourite to be the next managerial casualty.

Speculation continues to surround Cooper at the City Ground.

Forest have endured a difficult spell having claimed just one victory in their last 12 Premier League matches.

A 1-1 draw against Wolves stopped a run of four-consecutive defeats, but still leaves the club with just two wins and 63 goals conceded in their last 28 away matches.

Given his achievements, it's no surprise that Cooper continues to retain the support of the fanbase and players alike.

But an increasing strained relationship with owner Evangelos Marinakis and more negative results could see a change in the dugout.

But who could replace Steve Cooper as Nottingham Forest manager?

Free agent Oliver Glasner is the frontrunner at 11/10.

The Athletic claim the Nottingham Forest hierarchy have been long-term admirers of the Austrian, who won the Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022.

Julen Lopetegui is next at 9/4 for his second role in the Premier League having briefly managed Wolves.

The Spanish tactician won 10 of his 27 matches in charge at Molineux but departed by mutual consent before the 2023-24 season started following 'differences of opinion' with the club.

Will Still is available at 10/1.

But the Reims manager, 31, is on Sunderland’s shortlist to replace Tony Mowbray as manager and might not be available in the coming weeks.

Ralph Hasenhuttl is priced at 14/1, ahead of 16/1 duo Graham Potter and Carlos Carvalhal. Jesse Marsch is 20/1 and Roy Keane is outsider of the pack at a sizeable 33/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Oliver Glasner has long been linked with a Premier League move, and the latest odds suggest the Forest job will soon be his."
