When out and about, we'll likely all have seen a random note left by a stranger on a lamp post, or on a notice board at some point that's made us look twice. But one person's 'perfect' note attached to some unwanted furniture has caused a stir online, leaving many entertained.
Taking to the popular social media app Twitter, a woman shared a look at a note she came across alongside some unwanted furniture in Kelvinbridge, Scotland.
After walking past the West End in Glasgow, Beth Routledge claims she saw the sign plastered next to a set of chest of drawers. It very honestly detailed how an unnamed local resident was keen to get rid of the piece of furniture to save themselves a trip to the dump.
Beth, who posts online as @sefkhet took a quick snap of the note and claims that it's pure 'perfection'.
The funny note read: "Please take canny be a**** going to the dump.
Widow brings pillow with late husband's face on it to pub every New Year's Eve"NB - if no one takes, I will of course responsibly dispose."
Beth shared more context on where she spotted the sign in the caption of her tweet, with her 2,400 followers.
She wrote: "Spotted in the wild, the most West End of Glasgow sign there has ever been. Perfection, no notes."
Since posting, her tweet has raked in over 15,500 views and over 170 likes to date.
Hilarious signs have known to make their rounds across the internet.
Recently, people were in hysterics over a store's inappropriate spelling mistake on their closing sign.
The store - who were forced to close early on Friday 13 January - left a sign on their front door letting customers know that doors will be closed at 6pm.
Unfortunately, the store's note included a spelling error as they appeared to be closing for an 'unseen circumcise' rather than 'unseen circumstances'.
The sign read: "Due to unseen circumcise, we will be closing at 6pm Friday, Jan. 13th. Sorry for any inconvenience, management."
