Wake motion

Wake motion isn't everyone's cup of tea.

It's meant to be helpful, switching on when movement is detected.

This usually only applies during the daytime.

However, some people find it annoying.

If that's you, fortunately there's a way to switch it off.

Go to Settings then Startup & standby.

Scroll down to Wake using motion and tap to turn it off.

Login to your apps

Make sure you're logged into all the apps like Netflix and Discovery+.

This way you get better recommendations for what to watch.

Make UHD the default

Your Sky Glass TV is 4K so you want to get the most out of it.

The TV is set to automatic video quality when you first get it.

But really you want UHD at every opportunity for crystal clear picture.

So go to Settings, followed by Picture and sound.

Scroll down to Picture then select UHD.
