Champions League football returns as two of the top favourites meet in the round of 16 as PSG prepare to welcome Bayern Munich. Both sides are the two of the highest priced teams to win the trophy - behind bookies favourites Manchester City - and will be keen to claim a win against the other.

PSG are the slight favourites ahead of the first leg tie at 7/4 with Betfred while their German counterparts are 7/5 and a draw is 13/5. The Ligue 1 side have faced the Bundesliga champions 11 times in the Champions League with the teams separated by just one win in the head-to-head (6-5 in PSG's favour), scoring 15 goals each in that time.

Both clubs were widely tipped to cruise through their respective domestic leagues but have experience a few banana skin moments which has led to a point where a title challenge is on the cards. PSG are just five points ahead of Marseille in Ligue 1 having picked up just two wins in their last five league matches while Bayern are just one point behind surprising challengers Union Berlin and three behind usual suspects Borussia Dortmund.
