Amy Slaton was overcome with emotion as she opened up about her fear of being a bad mother to her two sons — Gage, two, and Glenn, seven months.
The 35-year-old said it's her "goal in life" to set a good example to her kids, but admitted she's worried because of her strained relationship with her own mother Darlene Rednour.
Amy and her sister Tammy Slaton often cite Darlene as one of the reasons for their weight issues.
According to the sisters, they were raised by the grandmother as Darlene couldn't spend time with them because of her work. When their grandmother passed away, the sisters were left to their own devices.
Speaking to her sister Amanda Halterman on the latest episode of 1000-lb Sisters, Amy broke down in tears as she discussed her fears.

Amy admitted she it worried she won't be good enough for her sons and said she second guesses everything she does.
She added: "I want to be a good mom to Gage that everything I do for him I'm like, is this the right call?"
Seeing her sister cry, Amanda offered her words of encouragement, saying: "Don't you ever doubt yourself. Honey, you're not a bad mom. They don't come with instruction manuals.
"Believe me, when you mess up, your sisters and your brother will let you know. You know that. But that has never come out of our mouth."
Speaking about her firstborn son, Amy added: "I wanna give him the best life he ever had. Because we didn't."
The reality star announced she was pregnant with her second child with husband Michael Halterman in January last year.
She discovered her pregnancy after being constipated for three weeks and the couple then welcomed their son Glenn in July.
"Two years ago I was pregnant with Gage because I went to the ER because I was so constipated.
"And with this one, I was like, 'Babe, I haven’t pooped in three weeks! I'm pregnant'," she said in a confessional on her TLC reality show.
