GRACE DENT was famed for her ruthless critiques on MasterChef, until her star rose even higher on I'm A Celebrity.

The food critic has now left the I’m a Celebrity jungle, telling her campmates she misses home - and no doubt her partner Charles.

What do we know about Grace Dent's partner Charles?

Grace Dent has not spoken out much about her partner, Charles, but when she has she has had nothing but praise.

The journalist met Charles while working in Liverpool, and had common acquaintances.

In an interview on Kate Thornton's White Wine Question Time, she even said she asks herself 'how did I pull this off' when thinking about their relationship.

She said: "With my man, Charles, I think almost every day whenever I look at him 'How did I pull this off?'

"Because before we got together, I used to follow him on Instagram, and he followed me and there was at least 24 months where I used to just look at his photo and go 'He's so pretty'.

"It was very gradual because we followed each other because we knew people in common.

"I was in Liverpool working, and I was feeling really, really miserable. And then I just got I got this little message from him saying that he would like to take me for a coffee."

She said he was "absolutely gorgeous" and as far as is known, the pair have been smitten since.

When was Grace Dent on I'm A Celebrity?

Grace Dent joined the I'm A Celebrity cast in November 2023, alongside big names such as Brexiteer Nigel Farage, all-star jockey Frankie Dettori and This Morning presenter Josie Gibson.

She entered the show in a terrifying way - on the new version of the iconic Walk the Plank challenge called Pole Position - with Sam Thompson, Danielle Harold and Fred Sirieix.

If this wasn't enough, Grace endured some horrific trials throughout her short time in the jungle.

She was gunged and covered in guts in November 24's instalment of the show, where she went up against Nella in a trial.

Grace was forced to get medical attention after an insect found its way into her ear, but it was flushed out by medics.

However, after a week in the jungle, Grace decided to say her goodbyes and return home.

She left on 'medical grounds' with a spokesperson from I'm A Celebrity saying: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds.

"She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike."

A source told The Sun: “Grace was having a tough time away from her family and struggled with the lack of sleep and good food. But more than anything she was really pushed to the brink by the gruelling trials this year.

"The Scarena series meant the celebrities were all taking part in more challenges than ever and Grace had just had enough.”
