Black Friday always falls the day after Thanksgiving in America, which means for 2023, it falls on November 24.
It gives shoppers a chance to save big over the extended sale period before the festive season begins.
Once a US-only event, the sale is now a global phenomenon, with thousands of retailers and brands taking part annually.
Globally stores will be slashing prices after the holiday, allowing consumers to bag incredible deals ahead of the festive season.

Traditionally Black Friday deals end at midnight, but over the years, retailers have extended the discounting period for longer.
Amazon generally continues most of its big Black Friday savings all the way through the following weekend and into Cyber Monday - the digital-only version of Black Friday.
The retailer even launches new lightning deals during that time, which are only available while stocks last.
When is Cyber Monday 2023 and is Amazon taking part?
Cyber Monday falls on November 27 this year, and it's usually the final day for shoppers to make savings.
Amazon usually offers deals throughout the Cyber Weekend and Cyber Monday period, so shoppers will be able to extend their bargain-hunting right up until midnight on November 27.
In the past, Cyber Monday deals were only accessible online and were predominantly tech-focused (hence the name).
In comparison, Black Friday deals have always been available both online and in-store and have focused on big-ticket items.
However, in recent years, we've seen a shift in the way the deals are launched throughout the discounting period.
