One sim-only mobile phone deal has sparked the attention of savvy spenders online as the deal currently only costs 1p.
One bargain hunter shared the offer, which is available exclusively through the Money Saving Expert (MSE) affiliate link, from Lyca Mobile to the LatestDeals.co.uk community forum.
The reason they shared was that this plan is offering unlimited calls and texts, as well as free roaming and 3GB worth of mobile data at just a single penny a month for six months, so for 6p in total.
It also includes 100 International minutes to Europe, the United States and China.
After the first six months, the cost of the mobile phone plan then will go up but it still only costs under a fiver at £4.75.
Martin Lewis issues 8-week warning to phone users ahead of huge price hikesIf you don't fancy sticking around after six months, then Lyca Mobile will let you opt out if you prefer.
Be wary as the deal is "auto-newed" so if you forget to cancel, you will keep on paying.
Lyca Mobile uses the O2 network and this mobile deal has no minimum term or contracts, it also doesn't require a credit check before signing up.
The deal also allows you to keep your own number if you want to or get a new one.
Several bargain hunters were excited to see the deal with many sharing that it had come at the right time as their current plan was coming to an end.
Several Latestdeals.co.uk forum members offered reassurance to those who were concerned that it could be one of those "too good to be true" offers.
Sabrinabingham said: "I’m using Lyca myself as I signed up for this offer a few weeks ago and I haven’t had any problems. So far, so good."
To bag this offer, you will need to claim it through the affiliate link on Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert (MSE) website before the deal ends at the end of February.
You can find this affiliate link under the page "Cheap Mobile Finder" and then "I need a new Sim" on the MSE website.
Tom Church, co-founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, noted that the offer was indeed "excellent" however he would've preferred unlimited data.
Martin Lewis urges everyone with a mobile phone to send two texts to cut billsHe said: "I’d have preferred unlimited data, but if you’ve got access to a WiFi network at home or work then all you have to do is keep an eye on your data usage.
"There’s no denying that 6p for 6 months is a fantastic bargain!"
