Claire achieved notability for her iconic appearance on the Channel 4 reality show back in 2018.

She famously decided to serve all her food on planks in the contest, quipping "as in a restaurant you would have it on a plank, wouldn't you," with clips of her continuing to go viral almost daily on TikTok and Twitter five years on.

Claire has shared a slew of photos of her growing baby bump on Instagram and is expected to welcome her first baby any day now.

She looked like she was ready to pop as she showed off her baby bump in a tight-fitting green dress as she attended a Christmas party earlier this week.

The star also confirmed in her post that she has booked in to have a C-section to deliver the child.

Writing online, Claire said: "I had to squeeze one more night out in before hanging up my party shoes! Lol! C section all booked in as the baby is growing rapidly! Lol! So time to rest up now! Not long now baby!"

She has not let pregnancy slow her down either as she attended her graduation earlier this year whilst heavily pregnant.

Claire shared some photos of her flaunting her ever-expanding bump whilst donned in her university cap and gown to mark the occasion.

The bubbly self-proclaimed Valley girl developed a legion of fans thanks to her memorable show appearance and she has gone on to have one of the most-watched episodes of the series of all time thanks to her hilarious one-liners and non-standard cooking practises.

Claire kept her hair in rollers for her time cooking on the show where she confessed to buying mostly everything shop-bought in order to save time.

Speaking about her decision to serve everything up on a plank, Claire told the cameras: "I've got something different tonight, I'm not gonna be serving my food on plates, I'm actually going to be serving them on planks.

"I think the guests would be quite impressed? I'd be a bit tamping if they're not as it is a bit of an effort buying planks."

Her meme-filled episode went onto produce countless more classic clips including her decision to serve up days-old birthday cake in a sundae as well as labelling a sirloin steak as "stirloin" in a comical mishap.

Whilst prepping her steaks, Claire opted to use her oven gloves to assist in flipping them over as well as to turn her home-cooked chips.

It left the Channel 4 show's narrator Dave Lamb wincing as she plated up her food - on a plank of course.

The resulting meal - steak topped with bacon, cheese and a dollop of barbecue sauce - left her guests in hysterics.

Claire previously spoke to Wales Online about her time on the show and how she continues to still go viral.

She said: "It's been three years and it has absolutely flown by. Everyone has still been talking about it – I think it's because they've been repeated quite a lot, especially because of lockdown.

"I was working in Bannatyne in Cardiff at the time. I'm a therapist but was on reception one day when someone rung and asked if they knew of anyone who wanted to take part in the show. I was like 'yes' and had to apply – I was in the right place at the right time.

"At first I thought it might have been a joke. I had to apply and then I had a phone interview and things and then just after Christmas they got back to me. There were quite a few rounds to get through.

"When I was living in Cardiff me and my friends were going to Las Iguanas a lot and one particular day we ordered prawns on a plank – basically what I tried to recreate for my starter, which went horribly wrong. When I practised it it was amazing but when I recreated it it was rubbish.

She added of her rise to fame through the show: "I do read through comments but I don't read every single comment when I appear on social media pages such as LADbible or Love of Huns because there are so many.

"Most of them are positive, people saying they find me funny and other nice things like that, but some people can be a bit serious and comment on my hair and make-up on the show.

"I was brought up saying if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. I haven't really let it get to me though. I think when you go on TV you are open to criticism – you can't expect it all to be rosy. I wear a lot less make-up now, though, so when I look back I do think: 'oh my God'."
