Former Love Island star Amy Hart is getting ready for her first Christmas as a mum to her cute son Stanley and has shared how she plans to celebrate the festive season.

Amy, 30, welcomed her first child with her fiance Sam Rason in March this year. Since then, she's been keeping her fans updated on her new mum journey online.

Ahead of Christmas Day tomorrow, Amy has revealed her plans for 2024 and how she and Sam are blending their different traditions, and how her feelings about Christmas have changed recently.

Talking about her Christmas plans, Amy said: "Originally, I was like 'I'm not gonna get the baby any presents, they don't understand stuff', and now I'm like let's go and see as many Santa's as we can' and he is having a book advent calendar."

The former flight attendant then went on to share how she will be spending Christmas Day with her parents and heading to Sam's mum's house for Boxing Day festivities. She also revealed they're figuring out what their "family compromise" will be now that she shares the festivities with Sam and his family.

Amy shared that she and Sam have different family Christmas traditions. She explained to OK! magazine: "It's really weird because I've never had like a serious boyfriend before I met Sam and obviously every family has their own traditions. So, I said to him with Stanley we can put his stocking at the end of his bed and he can open it in our room, and he was like 'no the stocking goes on the fireplace downstairs and then you open it downstairs'."

The mum-of-one continued: "And I'm like 'no, presents from Santa are upstairs and presents from mum and dad are downstairs'. We are just trying to work out what our family compromise will be".

Luckily, Amy won't have to cook this Christmas as her parents told her to relax and enjoy the day. She mentioned: "My mum was like 'enjoy turning up with your kids and let someone else do the cooking because one day I'm going to be too old and then it will fall to you', so I'm just enjoying not hosting". Amy and Sam plan to take turns celebrating Christmas with each other's families, with this year being at Amy's and next year at Sam's.
