Who is in the cast of Mog’s Christmas?

In Mog’s Christmas, Mr and Mrs Thomas and their children Debbie and Nicky are preparing for Christmas, leaving Mog feeling ignored — before long, the family are wondering what to do as Mog finds herself in a sticky situation.

The hand-drawn TV animation will be voiced by a star-studded cast.

Claire first rose to fame in 2008 starring as Amy Dorrit in the BBC’s Little Dorrit, and has since enjoyed a steady stream of top roles.

Her turn as Mrs Thomas appears to be her first role as a voice actor.

Most recently, Claire reprised her role as the young queen Elizabeth in the final series of The Crown.

The actress steers clear of social media, only occasionally giving interviews.

Benedict Cumberbatch

Voicing Mr Thomas will be Benedict Cumberbatch.

Benedict is perhaps best known for his role as the titular character Sherlock in the hit 2010 BBC adaptation, alongside co-stars Martin Freeman and Andrew Scott.

The stage and screen actor has been nominated for Oscars and Bafta and has won an Olivier for his role in a production of Frankenstein.

But the star is no stranger to voice acting, after a turn as Smaug in The Hobbit, and even a cameo in The Simpsons.

Cumberbatch was appointed a CBE in 2015 for services to the performing arts and charity work.

The actor lives with his wife Sophie Hunter in a £8.1 million country mansion in Somerset.
