He snapped: "Oh f*** off Dave."

Sharing the exchange publicly on his profile, the Bad Education star added: "And to anyone else who is still mad literally just leave me alone."
He added: "Btw l'm good. Happy, Hanging & Heading Home! Enjoying some downtime, freedom & soon come a much needed holiday.
"Love & light to you all (Apart from people like Dave, you lot can [middle finger emoji])."
The actor had previously been slammed by viewers and former Strictly pros for being allowed take part in the competition despite having previous dancing experiences.
Layton reached the final of this year's Strictly but lost out on lifting the Glitterball trophy to Ellie Leach.
