THE Masked Singer fans think they've "worked out" who Cricket is after just one episode.
Last night, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall and Joel Dommett returned to our screens for the first unmasking.
Now fans of the ITV singing show are convinced that the green insect is none other than Blue star Simon Webbe, after their upbeat performance of Place Your Hands by Reef.
One wrote: "I'm not sure on the clues yet either but I compared the voices of Cricket's first performance and one of Simon's solo songs and they sound similar. His voice definitely reminds me of his high notes on All Rise."
This person replied: "Oh this is a good guess! I was thinking a sports star but now I can't un-hear Simon."

While another agreed and said: "I think Cricket is Simon Webbe from Blue. It sounded a lot like him and I do think Cricket is a singer based on the comments Rita said about his voice."
A fourth thought it could be singer-songwriter Lemar but was also left conflicted, saying: "I was 50/50 between both Lemar and Simon Webbe."
Another speculated: "Simon Webbe is 5’11, Lemar is 6 foot, I know the head could give a few extra inches, but I think it’s stretching it a bit, but it does sound like Simon a lot."
There were also a number of guesses from the panel last night.
Davina McCall thought Jay Blades could be the person behind cricket, noting the 'blades' of grass in his entrance VT.
The character then revealed his riddle as he said 'I hope my performance was bowling you over, like when I got dizzy while perched on a sofa'.
This left the panel confused as Jonathan Ross subsequently changed his pick to comedian Vic Reeves.
However, it seems that could be a red herring as the mystery celeb was left laughing when he returned backstage.
Elsewhere, Maypole, Dippy Egg and Weather found themselves fighting for survival in the bottom three during the opening show.

The judges almost all guessed it would be superstar Dionne, but were still shocked to see her behind the mask.
