RYLAN Clark told fans "it can't get worse" after his musical performance on the BBC's New Year's Eve show.
The This Morning star, 35, took to the microphone and sung You Spin Me Round alongside pop legend Rick Astley.
Presenter Rylan is of course an accomplished singer who rose to fame on The X Factor in 2012, where he finished fifth.
He tweeted: "It can’t get worse than me singing you into the new year. 2024 is on the up from here. Happy new year x."
While not everyone was pleased to see the TV star on their screens, others were delighted - with many seemingly unaware of his singing talents.

One wrote: "Wow what a voice ! Why haven’t I heard you sing before? Brilliant performance."
Another posted: "Not a huge fan of Rylan, but he absolutely nailed it last night... Another string to his performing bow...!!"
Others begged him to reboot his singing career after the show, which featured Rick and Sharleen Spiteri at the Roundhouse in north London.
One tweeted: "Rylan you were bloody amazing. Stop putting yourself down as you have a great voice."
The star actually spent New Year's Eve at home as the BBC One musical show - the traditional curtain-raiser to the London fireworks at midnight, was pre-recorded.
The star sharing a picture of himself earlier in the evening seeming sat in his sprawling Essex pad before partying with his mum Linda.
He wrote simply: "New year new me and all that b*****ks. HNY."
While the BBC was lining up its musical spectacular, ITV was showing its usual programme, the National Lottery's New Year's Eve Big Bash.
However, TV viewers slammed the channel for airing what it called "woke" celebrity messages during the broadcast.

The two-minute film on climate chance saw famous faces from Idris Elba and Olivia Colman to Glenn Close speak out about the need for urgent action to save the planet.
One viewer wrote: "Oh **** off with your preaching about climate change. It's NYE ffs. Have a day off."
Meanwhile, over on BBC Two, Jools Holland returned with his Hootenanny, with musical guests including Sugababes and Rod Stewart.
