Chloe Madeley has admitted it is "really nice" to still be living with her ex James Haskell.
The 36-year-old personal trainer announced her split from the rugby star back in October after almost ten years together. They are parents to daughter Bodhi, 16 months, and were married for five years. Chloe and James split from each other in September last year and their relationship went under intense speculation.
The daughter of TV stars Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan has since revealed she and James were on different paths and that the split was the best option for their daughter. However, they are still sharing their London home with each other. James is expected to move out this month, but Chloe confessed it has been "really nice and works well".
In a new interview with OK! Magazine, Chloe revealed: "James travels a lot. He’s home two nights a week, so we both get our space. And then when he comes home, I’m tired from doing five nights with a screaming baby, so I get to sleep and he’s on the night and morning shift because he’s had the luxury of being in a hotel for five nights.”
She admitted spending time apart has made their co-parenting and living arrangements a success, despite it contributing to their split. Chloe added that it will be "interesting" when James does move out of their home, and thinks it will be "a whole new host of challenges."
Susanna Reid snaps at Richard Madeley on first day back at work on GMB as fans all say the same thingThe former couple recently sparked rumours they had reunited with each other as they celebrated Christmas with their daughter. They headed to the exclusive London hotel The Ritz on Christmas Day with their young daughter and took a series of sweet family photos in front of a beautifully decorated tree at the upscale venue.
Chloe had previously spoken about spending Christmas with James, despite them parting ways, as she said she wanted Bodhi to have a “sense of family and togetherness at Christmas". She continued: “Christmas is going to be a real family affair. As much as possible, I want Bodhi to have a real sense of family and togetherness at Christmas and it’s important for both James and I to do that.”
Chloe and James confirmed news of their separation a few weeks after they had parted ways, and admitted they wanted to keep the news under wraps due to their ITV show Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair. “James and I mutually decided to separate at the end of September 2023. We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time - certainly not while the television show was airing - but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand,” the statement read.
“Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time. Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love,” they added.
