THE One show viewers were left begging for an apology from Waterloo Road actress Tillie Amartey as she appeared to make an epic blunder live on air.

The 20 year old BBC star was appearing on the programme for its first edition of the new year.

Ahead of the launch of the latest series of the school-based drama, Tillie and her co-star, Angela Griffin, were chatting to Jermaine Jenas and Lauren Laverne about all the shenanigans to hit the school this term.

However, attention was quickly pulled away from the pair discussing their show as viewers at home were left taken aback by Tillie's unchallenged 'swearing' live on air.

It came as the hosts spoke to fellow guests Michelle Keegan and Joanna Lumley about their new Netflix show Fool Me Once.

Michelle was recalling a filming session in a glass-bottomed helicopter which left her a nervous wreck due to being up high.

It seemed her fellow guests would have felt equally as nervous as they let out a gasp before Tillie appeared to drop the F-bomb live on air.

Recoiling in horror at the filming stunt, Tillie seemed to say: "Oh f... I feel a bit sick."

The dialogue did not go unnoticed with some fans even left demanding an apology for her apparent bad language.

Writing on X - formerly Twitter - one fan said: "#TheOneShow did one of the guests just use the f*** word? They need to apologise."

Another then added: "Pretty sure Tillie dropped the F here. Mind you I’m with her, I hate heights too. The glass-bottom Heli would scare the hell out of me. #TheOneShow."

As a third went on to say:  "Waiting for the obligatory #TheOneShow apology. What an F-bomb there."

A fourth highlighted how Tillie appeared shocked and embarrassed immediately after realising her mistake.

They penned: "Poor Tillie, immediately embarrassed when she realised what she had said." [sic]

Tillie's appearance on the magazine show comes just weeks after she dazzled on the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor for the annual Christmas special.

The actress sparkled as she put on an epic performance but lost out on the title of winner to EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick.

Despite this, it seems that she could have won something else entirely amid romance rumours between her and her fellow celeb co-star, rugby hunk Danny Cipriani.

Danny, 36, has been getting friendly on social media with the 20-year-old actress.

Both stars have been commenting on each other's latest posts as they shared banter.

They've also been exchanging red love heart and flame emojis.

Danny has also referred to the pretty actress - who goes by the name of Tillie Thalia on her socials - as a “hot stepper”.

Last month Danny confirmed he had split from his wife Victoria Rose O'Callaghan after two years of marriage.
