In 1951, the movie mogul visited the Danish theme park along with Radio and TV personality, Art Linkletter.

The pair visited Tivoli Gardens four years before the first Disney park opened in California.

On his visit, Walt Disney spent his time walking around and writing down details about the rides, the food, the lights, and the seats.

Walt Disney paid several visits to Tivoli Gardens, after becoming impressed with the family atmosphere and design.

After being open for nearly two centuries, Tivoli Gardens is now home to 30 rides and other attractions.

One of the theme park's main attractions is the giant Ferris Wheel, which was erected in 1943.

The ride on the Ferris Wheel lasts up to 20 minutes, and it offers great views over the Danish capital.

The Golden Tower is one of the highest rides at the theme park.
