A WOMAN raved about a $5 face powder that she said has gotten her through crying sessions and intense workouts.
She said she's never giving up on the mattifying beauty powder and that she'll continue to buy it.
Kristina (@kl.archive) shared her makeup review in a TikTok video.
She held up the $5 Essence Brighten Up! Banana powder that she used to set her makeup.
"Reasons why the Essence powder is staying with me in 2024," she said.

She explained that her loyalty to the powder was unmatched and that she was on her sixth restock.
As if that weren't reason enough, she added that from experience, she can attest that the powder was sweatproof and cry-proof.
Kristina shared a photo of herself after an intense workout where she was dripping sweat but her makeup was still perfectly intact.
In another photo, she wiped tears away but found that her makeup was still looking great.
The icing on top of the cake for her was that the powder was also flashback-proof.
"White cast where?" she asked, showing off a photo she had taken with flash.
"Essence Cosmetics Brighten Up powder never fails me!" she said.
In a response to a viewer, Kristina revealed how she typically applied the product.
"I personally love using a damp sponge to apply — pressing into the skin and letting it SIT and using the same damp sponge absorb the rest of the powder!" she said.
