THE Tourist is back on screens for season two, but faithful viewers have been left unimpressed the second time around.
A new series has seen Jamie Dornan return to his native Ireland in the role of Elliot while seeking answers about who he is.
Previously the thriller was set in Australia, where the Irish man woke up in hospital with amnesia.
In season two he has continued to try and piece together his identity while avoiding being killed by unknown assailants who are hunting him down.
Although the BBC drama scored high ratings and received critical acclaim during the first season, fans have not warmed to the second series.

Viewers have taken to social media to hit out at the show, with some even calling for it to be axed.
One person fumed: "Was a single Irish person consulted on the script of s2 of the tourist? Was it this s**te for Australians watching s1?"
Another groaned: "We tried with The Tourist but shan’t be watching any more.
"Jamie Dornan’s eyes are not enough to keep me intrigued. The story is more bonkers than the last series."
A third complained: "Watched the first few episodes of The Tourist Season 2. And I’m not exaggerating, it’s probably the worst thing I’ve ever watched.
Terrible acting, terrible storyline, terrible accents and their portrayal of Ireland..."
A former fan wrote: "Wow, BBC The Tourist season 2 is really abysmally crap compared to the first. Watched two episodes, not sure I can bear the rest. What the f*** went wrong!?!?"
The second season of the show has now wrapped up with a cliffhanger ending, hinting that a third season may be in the works, but show bosses have not confirmed the rumours yet.
