Who is Sue Perkins and how old is she?
Sue Perkins, 54, was born on born September 22, 1969 and went to Cambridge University, where she studied English.
It was there that the famous duo Mel and Sue met and went on to tour with drama club Footlights.
The pair then wrote for BBC Radio 4 show Weekending, and penned sketches for French & Saunders, before hosting daytime shows Light Lunch and Late Lunch for Channel 4 between 1997 and 1998.

Sue and Mel Giedroyc helmed their second, less successful chat show, Mel & Sue, for seven months on ITV in 2015.
Sue has a passion for conducting after competing on reality TV show Maestro in 2008, and has led orchestras on numerous occasions.
She also regularly features on BBC radio shows and judged on the Man Booker Prize in 2009.
Her memoir, titled Spectacles, was released in 2015.
The blurb reads: “This, my first ever book, will answer questions such as 'Is Mary Berry real?', 'Is it true you wear a surgical truss?' and 'Is a non-spherically symmetric gravitational pull from outside the observable universe responsible for some of the observed motion of large objects such as galactic clusters in the universe?’”
Mel and Sue hosted Bake Off between 2010 and 2016, but the duo famously quit when it moved to Channel 4, along with judge Mary Berry, in a display of loyalty to the BBC.

Sue was in a relationship with fellow TV presenter Anna Richardson, who is known for hosting Naked Attraction.
Sadly the couple announced they had split in June 2021.

She continues: “I’m a serial monogamist. I’m always in a relationship so it doesn’t matter who I fancy, I’m with the person I’m with and I want to be good to them — I’m not a philanderer.
“I suppose a lot of my childhood and probably up until... well, quite recently, I was obsessed with relationships and sex and being loved.
“And I think I’ve turned a corner now and I’m just catching up to where most mature people have been for some time, which is to learn about people I admire, the different routes they’ve taken, and their accomplishments.
“There’s nothing more alluring to me than an accomplished woman — I’m overwhelmed by people’s brilliance. I want to lean into them and marvel.”
There are no reports of her dating anyone since Anna, so Sue is currently understood to be single.
