It's pancake day - and if you're anything like Prince Harry you'll be making the most of it! The 39-year-old is known to be a big fan of the Shrove Tuesday treats, so much so, wife Meghan Markle barely got a look in during a trip to Morocco.

The couple stopped by a pancake-making class back in 2019, when Harry wasted no time in indulging his sweet tooth.

Harry and Meghan were filmed by Lizzie Robinson of ITV as they talked with Moroccan Chef Dar Moha, as well as some of the children who had participated in Moha's cookery class.

Upon being presented with a pancake on a plate, Harry rolled it up and took a huge mouthful - prompting his wife Meghan to comment, "Big bite!" His mouth still full of food, Harry mumbled back, "Bit late now!" with a smile.

The Duchess of Sussex then complimented the children on their cooking, saying the pancake was "excellent". After some quick chewing, Harry eventually managed to add, "Delicious."

It's no secret that Harry enjoys sweet treats. In his memoir Spare, he revealed that his favourite dessert is bread and butter pudding, a love he shared with his late mother Princess Diana.

For Harry's 13th birthday in 1997, Eton College threw him a celebration party with some of his favourite desserts. He was given a choice of two flavours, with the prince recounting he chose a blackcurrant and mango flavoured dish, which he claimed was another favourite of his mum, who had died just two weeks beforehand.

Elsewhere in the book, Harry reveals that Meghan had to show him how to make one of his favourite foods - roast chicken. And it was while he was returning the favour, and making his wife a roast dinner, that he proposed.

In fact, allegedly loves chicken so much it is one of his go-to meals - even when his wife was in labour.

In Spare, the Duke of Sussex recounts being in the hospital with Meghan as she is about to give birth.

While waiting for labour to be induced, Harry decided to order from Nando's to "optimise" his wife's peace of mind, with the meal being brought in by bodyguards.

Meanwhile, in 2016, Meghan revealed her everyday eating habits, saying she avoids binge eating and sticks to a vegan diet during the week.

She said that her "kryptonite" was French fries, but that she also loves pasta, saying: "Who doesn't love a carbohydrate?"

"But of course, when I'm filming, I'm conscious of what I eat. I try to eat vegan during the week and then have a little bit more flexibility with what I dig into on the weekends," she said.

"But at the same time, it’s all about balance. Because I work out the way I do, I don’t ever want to feel deprived. I feel that the second you do that is when you start to binge on things. It’s not a diet; it’s lifestyle eating."
