A MOM-of-two has been named as the victim killed in the Kansas City Chiefs parade shooting that left at least 21 others injured.
Chiefs fan Lisa Lopez-Galvan was celebrating her team's Super Bowl victory on Wednesday when someone unleashed a barrage of bullets that hit 22 people and sent the crowd running for their lives.
The beloved Kansas City DJ from Johnson County, Kansas, is said to have died during surgery after being shot in the abdomen, The Kansas City Star reported.
Her death came after screams from panicked crowds rang out through Kansas City on Wednesday afternoon, as gunfire erupted while fans tried to leave the victory parade through Union Station.
The Chiefs players celebrating their win had left just moments before, with Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce later revealing he was "heartbroken" by the scenes.

Three people have since been detained after cops rushed to secure the scene with the help of the FBI.
At least eight children were among the 21 injured after the chaos erupted at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Parade.
Police Chief Stacey Graves said during a press conference that they have not yet discovered a motive for the shooting.
"Right now, we do not have a motive, but we are asking those who may potentially have any kind of information, a witness, or a video to contact police," she said.
VICTIM NAMED
Victim Lisa Lopez-Galvan was a beloved host of her local radio station KKFI “Taste of Tejano."
“This senseless act has taken a beautiful person from her family and this KC Community,” the station said in a statement after her death.
Her friends described her as a devoted mom and beloved figure in the Latino community.
“She was the most wonderful, beautiful person,” said Lisa Lopez, a friend for decades and who works with the publication as a newsroom executive administrative assistant.
“She was a local DJ. She did everybody’s weddings. We all know her. She was so full of life.”
Rosa Izurieta, who knew Lisa since childhood, said that she was at the parade with her husband and adult son, a Chiefs super fan, who was also shot.

"She’s the type of person who would jump in front of a bullet for anybody — that would be Lisa," Izurieta said.
Support has poured in for those caught in Wednesday's horror, with Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes leading tributes from the Chiefs.
"I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today," Kelce said in a tweet.
"My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me."
President Joe Biden went on to condemn the "senseless epidemic of gun violence" and begged for others to join him.
"The Super Bowl is the most unifying event in America. Nothing brings more of us together," he said in a statement.
"For this joy to be turned to tragedy today in Kansas City cuts deep in the American soul."
The president added that Wednesday's events should "move us, shock us, shame us into acting."
"I ask the country to stand with me," he said.
"To make your voice heard in Congress so we finally act to ban assault weapons, to limit high-capacity magazines, strengthen background checks, keep guns out of the hands of those who have no business owning them or handling them."
TWEET INVESTIGATED
A suspicious tweet about a potential threat was being investigated by police on Wednesday, though it has not been confirmed if it had anything to do with the attack.
A tweet posted on Monday read, “I might be planning a terrorist attack on the Kansas City Parade.”
In response to the disturbing message, Kansas City Police said, “We are aware of this tweet and our investigators are working with our federal partners to look into this."
As cops search for a motive and work to identify the shooter or shooters, Children's Mercy Hospital confirmed it was treating 12 patients from the rally and many of them were children.
"Children’s Mercy is treating 12 patients from the rally. 11 are children. 9 have gunshot wounds," Children's Mercy told The U.S. Sun.
The Associated Press reported that eight children were among the 22 people hit by gunfire at the parade.
Chief Graves originally said she didn't believe any of the victims were children, but she stated the situation was fluid and information was still being gathered.
Of those shot, eight victims had immediately life-threatening injuries, Kansas City Fire Chief Ross Grundyson said.
He added that seven had life-threatening injuries and six others had minor injuries.
THREE PEOPLE DETAINED
Over a million people were said to have attended the parade this year.
Shocking video showed police rushing in as sports fans scrambled for safety.
Terrified paradegoers jumped over barricades and had to run across open roads to flee the scene.
One woman recounted the horrifying moment she realized there was a shooting at the parade.
"We went where an elevator was, we shut the doors and sat back against the doors and we prayed," one witness told Kansas City ABC affiliate KMBC.
"There was yelling and we didn't know if it was safe to leave, so we tried to block the doors.
"We heard the elevator start to move so we opened the doors and ran out -- there were officers there.
"I've never been so glad to see an officer in my life."
As hundreds ran for safety, other fans put themselves in harms way to try to stop the rampage.
Video showed a group tackling someone they believed to be a suspect in a mass shooting.
Police said in a 6:30 pm press conference that they are aware of the video and were looking into whether the person tackled is one of the three people they detained.
"I do want to comment on the question I got earlier about a video of some fans tackling someone," police said.
"We do have three persons detained and under investigation for today’s incident.
"We are working to determine if one of the three are the one that was in the video where fans assisted police."
HAUNTING WITNESS ACCOUNTS
A parade attendee described hearing a gunshot near a security post by the east stage.
“It was someone within feet of me,” Shawn Grew told the Kansas City Star.
Another paradegoer, Sam Castro, 18, said that he saw people running out of Union Station a little before 2 pm.
“We just got here, so it’s kind of crazy,” he told the publication.
A scared high schooler also revealed that he "had no idea if my friends were OK."
He added, "It's terrible."
The teen said he was told by a security guard to "get over the damn fence'" to safety, which caused him to hit his face in the process.
Governor Laura Kelly took to X to reveal she was safe after the tragedy.
"At the end of the Chiefs rally, shots were fired near Union Station. I have been evacuated and am out of harm's way. I encourage everyone to follow instructions and updates from @kcpolice. Please stay safe."
Star quarterback for the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes, tweeted about the incident.
"Praying for Kansas City…" he wrote.
The NFL also released a statement on X, writing: "We are deeply saddened by the senseless shooting that occurred today near the end of the rally in Kansas City for the Chiefs. Our thoughts are with the victims and everyone affected.
"We are grateful for the quick and thorough response of law enforcement and emergency personnel."
The FBI created a website for anyone with tips or videos from the Super Bowl parade to send to them to narrow down the suspect.
