Glasner has managed a number of teams over the course of his managerial career.

He began his coaching career at SV Ried in 2014, a team he used to represent as a player.

He then joined LASK for the 2015/16 season, helping them achieve promotion in his second season.

He then led the side to Europa League qualification in 2017/18, before leading them to the Champions League qualifying round in his last season at the club in 2018/19.

His greatest success would come in his time in charge of Eintracht Frankfurt, who he joined for the 2021/22 season.

He led the team to their first win away from home against Bayern Munich for 21 years, and despite an inconsistent league campaign, Frankfurt thrived in the Europa League.

A run to the final in Seville saw them knock out European giants Barcelona at the Camp Nou and Premier League side West Ham.

The final itself pitted them against Scottish side Rangers, and in a gruelling match, which was level at 1-1 after extra time, a 5-4 win on penalties saw the Germans pick up the trophy for the first time since 1980.

By winning, they also qualified for the Champions League for the first time.

Glasner's second season saw them reach another cup final, but this time they lost 2-0 to RB Leipzig in the DFB Pokal final.

The Austrian left at the end of the 2022/23 season.
