THORPE PARK fans have expressed their disappointment after it was revealed they wouldn't be able to go on two of the park's iconic rides ever again.
In 2021 the immersive walk-through ride Black Mirror Labyrinth was opened to the public.
It was based on the TV show Black Mirror and was described as a "twisted, sensory-defying maze" that "puts you at the core of the Black Mirror universe and wants to keep you there".
Park-goers were invited to "escape Black Mirror Labyrinth or lose your mind trying".
However, it looks as if the ride will no longer be at the park when it reopens its doors to thrill-seekers for the 2024 season.

In a question and answer session with its pass holders on Facebook, the park was asked if the attraction would still be there this year.
The park replied: "The doors to this twisted, sensory-defying maze closed at the end of our 2023 season."
A spokesperson has since confirmed that response to Sun Online Travel as well.
Ride enthusiasts have already been lamenting Black Mirror Labyrinth's closure, saying it was one of the more unique offerings at Thorpe Park.
Theme park news site Attraction Source shared the news with its followers via Facebook, where plenty of people responded.
One wrote: "It’s always a shame when we lose an unusual attraction."
Another said: "I really enjoyed this. Pretty sad it’s closed."
A third added: "That's a shame. Let's hope they use the space for something new in 2025."
Others however were less disappointed, with more than one comparing it to a simple mirror maze.
It's not the only attraction to have had its last ride either, with the closed-down Slammer also set to be removed from the park.

It was one of two new rides that opened for the 2005 season, along with Rush.
The ride was shaped like a giant fly swatter and took riders up to 75ft before flipping them over their heads in what was a unique free-fall experience.
However, it closed in 2017, and it has been dormant ever since.
Ride Rater has reported that it would be removed from the park for good this year.
One fan told Attraction Source: "I know it will never happen but I so wish Slammer would make a return."
Fortunately, there will be plenty of new rides for thrill-seekers to enjoy in 2024.
Hyperia - Thorpe Park
The UK's tallest and fastest ride will be opening at Thorpe Park this year.
Unveiled as Hyperia in mid-October, the coaster is expected to be ready sometime in early 2024 - although it’s not been confirmed when exactly this will be.
At 236ft tall, it will take the crown of the UK’s tallest rollercoaster from Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s The Big One, which stands just one foot shorter at 235ft tall.
It’s also set to smash speed records when it opens to the public, reaching a velocity of 81mph.
Nemesis Reborn - Alton Towers
The iconic ride has been closed since the end of 2022 but is set to reopen this year.
Its track has been given a rebrand and is set to be unveiled to the public at the start of this year.
Minifigure Speedway, Legoland
Work is well underway on a brand new ride at Legoland, which is also set to open in 2024.
The Minifigure Speedway will be the world’s first LEGO-themed duelling rollercoaster.
Passengers will go both forwards and backwards, as well as race between the Team Legends and Allstars, led by a Minifigure captain.
