MARK ALLEN'S Masters semi-final vs Ali Carter was dramatically halted twice by medical emergencies in the crowd.
The first incident occurred at Alexandra Palace after just two frames had been played.
Allen and Carter both remained in their seats as medics attended the scene.
Play was halted for around 10 minutes as the member of the crowd received attention.
Then, with Carter leading 5-3 - just one frame away from a final with Ronnie O'Sullivan - there was a second stoppage.

Both men remained looked concerned as they sat in their seats during the mid-frame pause,
Carter looked into the crowd and Allen ate an apple as the medical emergency was seen to by professionals.
When play resumed, Carter won the frame to reach a fourth Triple Crown final of his career – hoping it is third time lucky against the Rocket.
The captain, who is a trained pilot, hit three successive centuries - 100, 101 and 1015 – an unprecedented feat for this competition.
He said: “I really got it going in the middle there. It felt really good. Mark showed what a good player he is.
“I held myself together well and am delighted to get through. This is really sweet. I have been enjoying my snooker this week. I have had a consistent season.”
Carter, 44, carries with him the pain of losing in two World Snooker Championship finals to O’Sullivan in 2008 and 2012 and he will look to gain revenge at Ally Pally.
O’Sullivan, 48, had joked about Carter being a “nightmare” as he will bring some aggressive to the showdown today over the best of 19 frames.
The winner will earn a whopping £250,000 jackpot and the No.11 seed added: “I’m getting close to my best.
“I’m looking forward to the final. It will be a big day, a long day. I am relishing the challenge. I’m in a good place. I will go for it. It is not the end of the world if you miss a ball.

“Ronnie has been a big part in everybody’s career. He is the greatest of all time. I have ultimate respect for him as a snooker player. What a great challenge to play him here.
“If I get beat 10-0, then so be it. But I won’t. And I will give it my best shot.”
