It was only last weekend that he met Sir Alex Ferguson – the legendary football manager – behind-the-scenes on a trip to watch his beloved Manchester United.
Littler, 16, said: “It’s been crazy. Warrington Wolves invited me down and I went to the Manchester United game and met Sir Alex Ferguson.
Man Utd back-up goalkeeper Martin Dubravka recalled by Newcastle“To meet him was amazing and he said some lovely things to me about staying dedicated and believing in myself.
“My life has changed and my family’s lives have changed and I’m grateful for the opportunities I’m getting.
“It’s back to business for me now.
"I’ve chilled out and not really thrown many darts since the World Championship final.
“But I’m sure that once I’m in the practice room I’ll be alright.
