In March 2021, after months of speculation, Maura Higgins confirmed that she and Chris were an item.

Chris landed a role in the hit movie Barbie, alongside Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.

Speaking about his decision to return to the show, he said: "Last time I was only there for 15 days, so I want to do it and enjoy it all again.
