ASHLEY Park, known for her role as Mindy Chen on Emily in Paris, has opened up about her health scare.
The Netflix star shared a new Instagram post to inform followers that she was in the hospital during the holiday season for critical septic shock.
"As I sit here processing and recovering from the first few weeks of 2024, the only word I can think of is grateful," Ashley, 32, started her caption.
Ashley, who was featured in the newly released Mean Girls movie musical adaptation, clarified that her tonsilitis spiraled and affected several of her organs.
"I am grateful that my health has improved despite what we had initially been told," she said.

Ashley thanked her boyfriend, Paul Forman, for being by her side the entire time.
Paul is a French-British actor from London, England, who appeared alongside Ashley in Emily in Paris Season 3.
The post included photos and videos of Ashley in the hospital, starting with a shot of her boyfriend kissing the top of her head.
Another clip showed a sweet moment of him braiding the Broadway star's hair.
"I hesitated to share what’s been happening as I’m still in the throes of recovery…but I now know I’m safely on the other side of the worst," the actress concluded.
Ashley thanked her followers for being understanding of her absence over the past few weeks and promised she was "gonna be okay."
Her comments section flooded with support, including some from her Emily in Paris co-star, Lily Collins, 34.
"I can hardly look at these without crying. I love you sister and I’m forever grateful you’re on the other side of this and for [Paul] for your incredibly huge heart and for being there every step of the way," she wrote.
"I cannot wait to hug you both."

The singer's health update came just as Lily revealed production has started for the new season of their show.

A mere hour before Ashley's post, Lily shared a new photo posing with her script for Season 4 of the hit Netflix series.
"Did someone say Saison Quatre?!" she wrote, adding, "Finally reunited with my Emily in Paris fam back in Paris and it feels so good."
Lily shared a few photos of the script while wearing Paris-themed pajamas, along with a video of her taking a selfie with the booklet - on brand for the star's character.
