'IT WAS AMAZING'
On January 18, Sofia was on Jimmy Fallon to promote the new Netflix show.
The Modern Family actress was forced to walk back a slip of the tongue.
To get into character for Griselda, she told Jimmy she had to learn some new skills.
"I didn’t know anything," Sofia admitted, before praising Griselda director Andrés Baiz.
"He taught me how to smoke. He taught me how to do cocaine. He taught me a lot."
Harry makes big William admission as he says ‘it never had to be this way’Jimmy looked instantly uncomfortable at Sofia's criminal confession, as the studio audience roared with laughter.
Unaware of what she said, Sofia continued: "It was amazing because I was 51 years old and I didn’t even know how to, you know, how to light a cigarette."
She added, "I’ve never done cocaine. So it’s like, it was amazing. It was, like, a great experience."
Again, the audience went wild with laughter as Sofia finally realized what she was saying.
"No, no! The cocaine that I did was fake! It was not real cocaine. It’s fake cocaine, but I had to pretend," she explained.
"The cigarettes are also fake. Everything was, it’s fake."
She confessed, "The acting was real."
ACROSS THE POND
Last week, Sofia was in London to celebrate the premiere of Griselda.

"As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
Two days after releasing the announcement, Joe filed for divorce from Sofia after seven years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
The U.S. Sun reported how Sofia’s love of partying was reportedly one of the factors in her split.
While Sofia has found a new romance, Joe has also moved on with actress Caitlin O’Conner.
