THIS is the shocking moment a terrifying mid-air brawl erupts on a Ryanair flight before 'drunk' yobs were hauled off the plane by Spanish cops.

Three thugs were filmed fighting each other while onboard the plane from Edinburgh to Tenerife on Monday.

Fellow passengers said they endured hours of chaos after the rammy broke out, with many left shaken up as violent scenes erupted.

During the footage, two men, who are understood to be brothers, and a woman can be seen shouting at each other.

The man in the blue top was filmed storming up the aisle of the plane and squaring up to the second man in the grey.

They both appeared to shout at anyone who tried to intervene and stop them.

The blonde woman at the front of the plane was also filmed swearing at other passengers and hitting the man in the grey.

Cabin crew tried to break up the fight and ordered the trio to take their seats.

However, they took no notice of the orders and continue to scream at each other and other terrified passengers.

Hannah MacDonald, who was onboard the Ryanair flight, claimed the group had been drinking heavily since take off and were asked to stop swearing by older travellers.

She told the Daily Record: "It was just absolutely insane.

"The blonde girl kicked off big time and started to threaten the ladies who asked them to stop swearing. She said they would kill them when we landed in Tenerife and how dare they try to tell her what to do.

"I think her boyfriend's brother then told her to shut up and the next minute she went mental at him and they started to argue, then her boyfriend got involved and he hit his brother.

"Then they all got separated including the older women and moved the brother closer to us. When I spoke to the ladies they were both extremely shaken up and scared as originally the flight attendants said they weren't going to involve the police and proceeded to serve them another round of drinks."

Hannah claimed that the woman continued to shout abuse for the majority of the flight and said she was acting like a "wild animal".

Hannah added: "She was climbing over the seats to her other friends like a wild animal. During this time the brother was sitting saying she's absolutely mental, she's embarrassing.

"Then when the landing announcement was made that's when it all kicked off big time. She screamed something that set her boyfriend's brother off and he got up and started shouting back at her then the boyfriend got up and the brothers started arguing.

"The boyfriend looked like he gave his brother a Glasgow kiss and then the girl also attacked him and punched someone else on the flight. Any other passengers who tried to stop them also got threatened."

The plane was met by Spanish police upon arrival in Tenerife and the disruptive passengers were hauled off the aircraft.

A Ryanair spokesperson said: "The crew of this flight from Edinburgh to Tenerife (19 Feb) called ahead for police assistance after a small number of passengers became disruptive onboard.

"The aircraft was met by local police upon arrival at Tenerife and these passengers were removed. This is now a matter for local police."

Last November, a female Ryanair passenger was left with a bloody nose after a brawl erupted on a plane from Bristol to Tenerife.

And passengers on an Edinburgh-bound flight were left "terrified" after it was forced to make an emergency landing over an issue with one of the doors on the aircraft.
