STRICTLY Come Dancing star Nicola Adams has documented her "insane" Mauritius holiday as the stunning holiday resort was hit by Cyclone Belal.
The champion boxer, 41, took to her page on X, formerly known as Twitter, to capture the incessant rain and howling winds before telling fans they had been ordered to "stay inside."
Nicola was aiming to enjoy some winter sunshine with partner Ella Baig, 25, and their son, Taylor.
Yet things took a turn with the weather, sparking flash-flooding in the Indian Ocean island nation.
At least one person sadly died on the island as the cyclone warning was upgraded to maximum level, with hundreds of vehicles also damaged.

In the eye of the storm, Nicola and Ella attempted to make the most pf the getaway as they headed outside.
Wearing a black baseball cap and matching sports bra, paired with shorts, Nicola took charge of the camera.
She strolled barefoot with the rain lashing at her feet and told fans in her caption: "Cyclone Belal is quickly approaching Mauritius it’s crazy how the weather has changed already and it’s not even hit us yet."
In the clip she squinted to see through the rain as she said: "So we are going - mid cyclone - nothing on our feet, cause we are going to get wet right?
"The wind is a bit too strong for umbrellas.
"It's because there's puddles everywhere aren't there babe," to which Ella, also donning sports gear, simply replied: "Yes
"The only person that's going to stay dry today is Taylor because this is crazy! This is mad."
Later on, she captured the palm trees almost horizontal with the wind and added: "Look at this - I don't even know if you can see this, but it is insane right now."
She panned over to the swimming pool filled with rainwater and the sodden grassy areas as she shared the full extent of the weather.
The star also captured little Taylor, aged one, being carried around in his buggy with the pushchair's plastic sheet keeping the rain out.

In an update at the end of the clip, the 2020 Strictly star - who was paired with pro Katya Jones - said the conditions had worsened.
The Olympic champ added: "We have all been told that we have to stay inside, and we are not allowed to leave our rooms."
Back in 2022, Nicola and Ella announced the arrival of their first child.
At the time, Nicola told Hello! magazine that her son being born is "the most amazing thing that's ever happened" to her.
"I can't even explain the feeling - I felt this instant love," she added.
