An Uber driver has come up with a hilarious 'ride menu' to let his passengers choose the type of journey they want. The options include The Road Rage Ride, The Analyst Ride, The Information Ride, The Restaurant Ride, The Simon and Garfunkel Ride, The Life's Lessons Ride, The Political Ride, and The ME Ride.

In a resurfaced Reddit post, a chuffed customer said: "My Uber driver offered a conversation menu for his ride." The customer, who was visiting Fairbanks, Alaska, chose "The Information Ride with a side of Restaurant", and praised the driver, Jeffery, a Vietnam vet, for his immaculate car and dedication to providing a pleasant ride. They added: "If you're ever in Fairbanks, Alaska, try to catch a ride with him and ask about his famous 'monkey story'."

The full-ride menu:

  • The Road Rage Ride - I will complain about every other driver, their vehicles, and why they shouldn't be allowed on the road.
  • The Analyst Ride - Something bothering you? I listen with a sympathetic ear and maybe help you see your problem with some clarity. (No guarantees)
  • The Information Ride - I tell you as much as I can about Alaska and why you didn't stay here long enough to see all the important stuff.
  • The Restaurant Ride - I talk about the variety of restaurants and help you decide where to eat. Sometimes I even offer suggestions on which waitress to ask for.
  • The Simon and Garfunkel Ride - Sounds of silence.
  • The Life's Lessons Ride - I share some of life's most essential lessons. Take 'em or leave 'em.
  • The Political Ride - Just kidding. You have yours, I have mine. I can't change your mind and you can't change mine.
  • The ME Ride - I tell you all about me.

At the end of his journey, the driver happily snaps your picture, banking on his photography skills to ensure it's a fab shot. One social media user commented: "I want to ride with him a lot. I want all the ride." Another chimed in: "Spend four years of my youth just outside of Fairbanks, Alaska, and can confirm the Information Ride is truth." A third suggested: "Sound of silence = a big tip." Another jokingly added: "Jokes on you, the SandG ride is just the song Sound of Silence played at half speed on repeat for the entirety of the ride."
