A CLEANER has appeared in court charged with murdering a missing woman then dumping her body in a bin.
Maureen Gitau, 24, was last seen leaving her home in Deptford, South East London, on December 5.

Mark Moodie, 54, appeared at the Old Bailey today via video-link charged with murder.
The court was told on December 5, Maureen entered a property with Moodie but did not leave alive.

Police charged Moodie with murder after saying Maureen had been "likely killed".
Her body has not been found with inquiries continuing.
Moodie was remanded in custody to next appear on March 23.
A provisional trial date was set for November 27 but no pleas have been entered.
Maureen mum’s Jane last month pleaded for information to get her daughter home for the festive season.
She said: “It is so hard not to have Maureen at home with us, especially at Christmas.
“Maureen is much-loved and is such an important part of our lives. We are desperate to have her back home with us.
“If anyone knows where Maureen is, let us know. Maureen - please come home to us.”
