Jeremy was born on April 11, 1960, in Doncaster, West Riding of Yorkshire — making him 63 years old.
His mum, Shirley, was a teacher and his dad, Edward, was a travelling salesman.
Jeremy didn't grow up particularly wealthy, and although his parents put their son's name down in advance for private schools, they had no way of actually paying the tuition fees.
They managed to raise the funds for Jeremy's schooling by selling Paddington Bear stuffed toys through their tea cosy business.
