Fans were left stunned at Hannah's exit - which came amid a huge show shake-up in which the skate off was unexpectedly scrapped.

Instead, the contestants were told how the celebrity who received the lowest combined score from the judges and fans would be sent home.

Hannah, 42, and Corrie actress Claire Sweeney, 52, were in the bottom two, with the former eventually losing out.

One fan took to X to swiftly remark: "Seems a bit unfair. I don't remember this happening in previous seasons."

Another ranted: "Think it’s a bit unfair how there was no skate off this week but its back next week? and why was the show so rushed?" as a third commented: "Gutted Hannah is gone."

One then wrote: "OMFG … What it up with those scores.

"How did Claire get 6's when her feet never touched the ice?

"Her partner looked like he was moving a sideboard on an icy winters day.

"How is she through and Hannah is out?"

Recently, we reported on the Reach singer's secret health battle that could have forced her off the show at some point.

The mum-of-two suffers from an autoimmune condition which flared up following a tooth infection.

Speaking to The Mirror, Hannah told how she was forced to miss days of training.

She said: "All I wanted to do was train, but I was just too ill.

"I was completely stressed because the show team were ringing me, asking if I would be able to train tomorrow and I wanted to say yes, but didn’t know how I’d feel.

“It was out of my control, and I felt so guilty about letting everyone down – especially my skating partner Andy [Buchanan], who is lovely.

"I was worried I would have to pull out of the show, I was missing so much.

"I was determined to go back, but I was skating around white as a sheet and sweating. Anyone could see I wasn’t right."

After successful root canal treatment, she was able to resume her training sessions normally.

Yet there could have been further behind-the-scenes issues, after a body language expert questioned the compatibility of Hannah and partner Andy.

The pair appeared to have has some "obvious distance" between them and could be "clashing" behind closed doors, the source claimed.
