Scarlett Moffat has complained about there changing body - saying she feels ambushed by her recent pregnancy.
The 33-year-old reality star became a first time mum last year when she welcomed her son, Jude, in June last year. She shares the bundle of joy with her long-term boyfriend, 36-year-old Scott Dobinson - who she has been dating since 2018.
Former Gogglebox star Scarlett was braced for all manner of changes to her body when she welcomed her son - but didn’t seem to experience any of the changes other mums told her to prepare for. But now, eight months on, the reality show star says she is suddenly experiencing all the difficult changes.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, Scarlett filmed herself while she was sitting in her car. With her seat belt strapped on, and while wearing a black top, the star listed all the ways that her body was changing - and zoomed in her camera on some of the affected areas to show to her fans and followers on Instagram Stories. And she sounded both flustered and amused about her changes.
Addressing the camera, Scarlett began: “Hello lovelies. I haven’t put a filter on this because I want to talk seriously about what happens after you give birth. I feel like I was lulled into a false sense of security because I felt glowing and Judy’s now nearly eight months and all of a sudden, all the things everyone said would happen after I gave birth are happening now.”
Scarlett Moffatt says weight is a 'them problem' and she's 'chill' with her bodyPicking at her hair with her fingers and pulling it to show to the camera, Scarlett continued: “Like, sorry… what is this hair like? It’s like I’ve got a little fringe, but that’s not a fringe. That’s just where baby hairs and my hair is like snapping.”
She then focused the camera on her face and complained: “Hormonal chin of, like, spots galore. And I went and got my boobs measured yesterday for some new bras because all my bras don’t fit. And I’m a 34 or 36 J-cup. That’s J for jugs. J for ginormous jugs.”
Jude arrived five weeks early when he was born last year. Scarlett announced his birth via social media at the time - saying she was so happy to welcome him into her life. She wrote at the time: "My darling boy I can’t stop crying looking at you as I can’t quite believe you’re mine. You wanted to meet us early at just 35 weeks.
"Me & your daddy love you so much that I can’t even put this feeling into words. Our heart and soul feels complete & ready to burst. I will forever and always be grateful to be your mammy."
Reports have suggested Scarlett and Scott settled on the name Jude because it is gender neutral and means “praised”. Wales Online remarked: “The little one's namesakes include Saint Jude, the patron saint of lost causes, actor Jude Law, and The Beatles song Hey Jude. The name has gained in popularity in recent years and as of 2021 Jude was listed as number 40 in the top 100 names for boys in the UK and was predicted to be one of the biggest names of 2023, thanks to footballer Jude Bellingham.”
