DEBORAH Meaden left Dragon’s Den fans utterly enraged after she brutally snubbed the latest environmentally friendly pitch.

Charlie from South East London was looking for investment into her recycling company on the BBC business show.

The entrepreneur proudly admitted that she "created a new form of activism" as she created high-end accessories from recycled plastic from her local community.

She made it clear that she had one particular Dragon in mind and the pitch was specifically aimed at 65-year-old Deborah Meaden.

Before the pitch she told the camera: "I'm going in to get Deborah. I feel like she'd be a good laugh with a glass of wine.

"I just feel like all of her knowledge and all her connections I would really benefit from, yeah. That's what I'm hoping for today."

The Dragons collectively had doubts to the viability of the proposed business, even though Deborah initially appeared to be enthusiastic about the pitch.

However, she also had doubts especially when it came to the collection of plastic itself to make the products.

On tonight's edition of Dragon's Den, one by one the personalities withdrew their, which left only Steven Bartlett and Deborah left to impact their judgement.

Although he liked the person standing before him, Steven explained: "I'm out. I wish you the very best and I think you are awesome!"

Deborah was the last Dragon to make her decision and given her personal expertise, she struggled to evaluate the environmentally friendly pitch.

"So Charlie, listen, what makes it hard is that I love [this] so much. And I think you're smart.

"What I have a worry for is that in the time that you're trying to build this model, the industry is going to zoom past you because it is becoming a really big issue and I think people are beginning to see plastic as a real commodity.

"I mean, they get proper money for these bales of plastic so that commercialism hasn't got the conscience you've got, but it is what is going to change the world because money changes the world sadly."

She took in a deep breath as she exhaled: "Unfortunately, you can hear from my language..."

Upon hearing this, Steven himself looked devastated by the upcoming result as he could see what Deborah was planning to do.

Making a fake crying face, he uttered the word 'please' to his fellow co-star as the aspiring business women also verbally pleaded for the investment.

Deborah was then caught off guard as she exclaimed: "No I don't need you do it as well. Steven!

"For goodness sake, I'm finding this hard enough!"

She was full of praise for the contributor pitching her idea as they engaged in a friendly back and forth as Charlie continued begged the dragon to invest in her business.

Trying to block out the noise, Deborah reluctantly explained: "Shut your eyes, I'm going to shut my eyes, my eyes [are shut]. I'm out!"

But viewers were less than impressed with the decision as they took to X - formerly known as Twitter - in their droves to slam the TV personality.

One viewer fumed: "How could you Deborah Meaden!! #dragonsden."

Another raged: "All that spiel from Deborah and then she says I’m out #dragonsden."

"So Deborah is only interested in saving the planet if there's money in it for her ???? #dragonsden," claimed a third.

As a fourth fan pleaded: "Aww. Come on Deborah...call her back! #dragonsden"

Added a fifth: "Deborah has seen some recycling at a rubbish dump and now thinks she knows everything #DragonsDen."
