The alarm was raised at around 9.45am yesterday morning.

Footage of the fight, reportedly between two parents, was posted on social media yesterday evening.

It showed the two warring women wrestling and pulling at each other's hair.

They are both then pulled to the floor in the tussle.

The pair are then seen rolling around on the ground as they try to inflict blows on each other.

In the clip, one woman's leg can be seen outstretched in the air as she lay on the floor.

But the room is full of tables and chairs which block any further view of the fight.

The short video was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, with the caption: "No f****** way these mums be scrapping".

And it quickly racked up more than 104,000 views, 370 likes and 15 shares.

It is unclear what sparked the fight between the two parents.

Cops have confirmed that they have launched an investigation into the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “An investigation is underway following a report of an altercation between two women in Gowans Terrace, Perth on Monday, 29 January 2024.

"Police were made aware of the incident around 9.45am and enquiries are ongoing.”
