A MONSTER six-wheeled Rolls Royce Phantom with gold-plated brakes has excited car enthusiasts across the globe.
The matte black creation has been described as a rich person's dream in an alternate reality where society collapses and zombies take over.

Building the custom machine involved Frenchman Alexandre Danton and his team chopping the rear end off a 2005 Rolls Royce Phantom, just behind the rear doors, and constructing a new rear end with two axles and four wheels; the car is the first-ever 6x6 of its kind.
Danton's crew also lengthened the car's trunk and filled it with off-roading gear including a jerry can and anti-skid plates.
But it is the front of the 2.3-metre-wide and 6.3-metre-long Max Max Phantom that first catches the eye, with a push bar, bright yellow headlights and foglights, and a roof-mounted yellow LED light bar.

Sidesteps were installed to allow its passengers to reach the custom-built rack atop the car's raised roof.
Massively wide wheel arches fitted with 24-inch wheels complete the black beast's aggressive, otherworldly look.
Inside, the Rolls Royce's original leather was replaced with bright orange leather; the steering wheel airbag cover was reupholstered in crocodile leather and the arm rests in snakeskin.
Umbrellas were hidden in the rear door frames and 90s-style entertainment screens added for the enjoyment of back passengers.
One feature of the car that remained unchanged from 2005 was its V12 6.7-litre engine with 453 horsepower.
Gold flakes were applied to the Phantom's engine cover as well as its brake calipers - one of many touches which may appeal to aesthetically-motivated and financially-affluent people in a hazardous post-apocalyptic world.
The one-of-a-kind creation was built in three months and listed for sale at $5.2million (£4.3million).
Danton, of Lyon, posted a picture of the car to Instagram following its completion, asking his followers: "Do you like six wheels? I do."
Another six-wheeled motor that has got the car community is an ex-military machine with supercharged V8 power.
The heavily-modified 2009 AM General Humvee car was also built by Danton Arts Kustoms - and Frenchy Export LLC.

It is a genuine Humvee military vehicle that was upgraded to have six off-road-inspired wheels, with other modifications including lowered suspension, large alloy wheels, and low-profile tyres.
The matte green car also features an F1-style spoiler wing made from a real aircraft wing, a custom steel bumper, and metal bucket seats.
