GRIEVING Ashley Cain has revealed that he feared for his life while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, a mission he undertook in memory of his late daughter.
The reality star and former footballer tragically lost his daughter Azalyia when she was just 8 weeks old in April 2021, to acute myeloid leukemia.

He said: “I was suffering with severe altitude sickness. I had a bad headache, felt exhausted, dizzy and was throwing up. Combined with the fact that my diaphragm felt squeezed so tight, I was struggling to get air into my lungs.”
And at one difficult moment, Ashley experienced an ‘exhaustion fit.’

In January Ashley welcomed a baby son, Alias Diamond, with a new partner, his name a tribute to the tragic baby girl.
But Azaylia’s mother, Safiya Voragee, 36, has confessed to struggling with the news of Ashley’s recent arrival, which has also prompted a social media backlash against the reality star.
Responding to a message about negativity Ashley admitted that his mental health has suffered, he said: " If I'm gonna be completely honest, I wake up a lot of time and I don't want to get up.
The Ex-on-the beach star said that while the criticism was a "very difficult pill to swallow" - he was determined to be someone of whom both Aliyas, and Azaylia, could feel proud.
"Now what I care about in this world, and I'll say it as plain and as clear as this is honouring my daughter's time here is honouring her legacy is honouring the promises that I made to her on her day and is creating a blessing life for my son who is still here."
Indeed regardless of their separation, Ashley and Safiya continue to campaign and raise awareness for the Azalyia Foundation, a charity they set up in memory of their daughter.
