NICK Knowles has been branded "unrecognisable" by fans after making an appearance on The One Show.
Presenter Nick, 61, who recently admitted he's on "relationship death row" with his fiancée Katie Dadzie, 33, debuted a brand new beard on the BBC programme today.
It even caught the attention of host Alex Jones, who asked, "There's an elephant in the room here. Nobody's talking about it. There's a new look, Nick, going on well.
"There's there's two things with it. One is I'm not actually doing any filming for a while. I'm doing some writing and and things and so I had the chance to grow a beard and actually, weirdly for men you get a chance to grow a beard, like, 'I'll grow one.'
"I can't have a beard like this when I'm filming. So that was one thing. And the other thing is a friend asked me to do some acting and years ago, long when... I've been in TV 40 years now.

"When I started out, I started doing a bit of acting and I've been asked inbetween. Now I've got a bit of space, so I've said yes to play a part."
Viewers soon rushed to X, formerly Twitter, where they shared their disbelief over Nick's new look.
One wrote, "Nick Knowles is totally unrecognisable," while another agreed, "Didn’t recognise Nick Knowles."
Someone else added, "Bloody hell, Nick Knowles! I could tell it was him by the voice, but when I looked up, I seriously couldn’t recognise him!!!"
A fourth joked, "Wait... Nick Knowles was on #TheOneShow... missed it!"
In January, the DIY SOS star worried fans when he hinted his relationship with Katie might have gone awry - but it soon became apparent he was joking.
Nick wrote on Instagram "Men people! Or very sympathetic women people?
"Might need your help. You know when we kinda tune out when our partners are talking and just throw in the occasional yes or uh huh!
"Well apparently she ended with 'I love you' and I answered 'Yes'.
"Answering in the affirmative in this instance was not what was required."

He continued: "I am currently on relationship death row awaiting sentence.
"Any advice on restitution would be much appreciated."
Nick got down on one knee in the U.S. while he was filming over there last summer.
Katie later showed off her £50,000 sparkler — after he proposed with a Haribo sweet ring.
A source said at the time: “Nick and Katie have been on cloud nine since he proposed.
“The Haribo ring was a bit of fun — but Nick of course wanted to give her a real treat, so he splashed out on this beautiful ring.”
The couple have been dating since 2021, after they met when Katie's daughters became pals with Nick's son.
