Hosts Maya Jama, Clara Amfo and Roman Kemp will certainly keep the packed audience of London's O2 Arena entertained throughout the night, chatting to the biggest names.

While RAYE found herself performing, she also made history receiving an eye-watering seven nominations in one night, more than any other artist.

But while all artists appeared to be elated over their nomination, mega-star DJ and producer Calvin Harris seemed less than impressed with one of his nominations, This year, the Scotsman is nominated for three gongs but he didn't seem happy about being in the Best Pop category.

Speaking to Capital FM's Roman Kemp, Chris Stark and Sian Welby, Calvin said: "What am I doing in Best Pop? Can I just ask that? What am I doing in Best Pop?" "Are you joking?!" exclaimed Roman, before saying: "Calvin, you can't ask that, it's popular music, you create very popular music." Calvin replied: "I don't know about that, nah, I shouldn't be there."

When probed on what award he wants to go home with, he stated: "I'd love Best Dance, absolutely, it would make up for all the other years when they never had it as an option, for about ten years it wasn't an option."

This year, Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey and Taylor Swift lead the international nominees, while bands such as Bring Me The Horizon and The Rolling Stones are also nominated.
