Otherwise known as puddle lights, the projectors shine an image onto the ground from the doors.

The ground is illuminated with an image making you seem like a VIP in your own whip.

They also help with safety as they allow car users to see the area they are stepping on to then get into the car.

Two projectors sell for only £16.99 on Amazon.

The lights stick to the door with a magnet, they also won't turn on during the daytime, and turn off automatically when the door is closed.

The image projected onto the ground is from a lens that is fully customisable by the owner.

Companies like Mercedes and BMW sell logo-projector lamps for as high as £140, whereas supercar brands like Ferrari only offer features to exclusive customers upon request.

Each welcome light runs on batteries - and can be fitted on the doors without the need for drilling or sticking glue.

Fans took to Amazon to rave about the product.

One said: "I know that a well-known car has what I wanted for my own car. It is very easy to set up and looks great.

"I am not normally a gadget fan but many a time I have dropped keys etc. With a wide span of light makes it easier to find dropped keys. It also looks posh when opening the car door in the dark."

Another said: "Unit seems alright although the method of fixing was poor I’ve had to resort to applying silicon adhesive as pads did not stick."

A third said: "I use it for welcoming doors in my car."

Meanwhile, another cheap item that transforms car interiors can be found for only £12 on Amazon.

But one cheap hack can reportedly upgrade your car’s engine for as little as £30 – and it helps cut fuel costs.

A cold air intake system works by sucking in the hot air in the engine bay, helping to reduce the temperature as well as increasing the volume of cold and dense air reaching the engine.
