ACTIVISION has finally revealed when the next Call of Duty game is released - and you won't have to wait long at all.
The free mobile version has been hotly anticipated by fans after a limited release over the past year allowed a lucky few to test it.
Gamers can start playing in a matter of daysCredit: ActivisionVerdansk and Rebirth Island maps will be available at launchCredit: ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone Mobile will be available for both iOS and Android owners.
It will feature two large-scale maps at launch, including the much-loved Verdansk and Rebirth Island.
Verdansk is a 120-player map and features the Verdansk Gulag.
Chespin is the target of 2023’s first community day in Pokémon GoMeanwhile, Rebirth Island has 48 players.
There's also a bunch of multiplayer maps such as Shipment and Shoot House.
Another major bonus is shared progression with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone on PC and console, so you can earn XP that goes towards your player level across all platforms, as well as being able to share weapon-level progression.
CoD fans have welcomed the announcement on social media, saying they "can’t wait" to get stuck in.
"I'm so ready!" one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"LETS GOOOOOOO IT'S FINALLY HERE," another commented.
Activision says that the game will be available on March 21.
The game will have several customisation tools available too, including the ability to add a controller.
