NBA superstar LeBron James once lost his cool when his strict pregame routine was interrupted.
His former teammates from the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers have shared new details about his impressive pregame rituals. They revealed that he once "snapped" at journalists who messed up his routine after his gameday kit was all laid out.
Even at 39 years old, James is still one of the top players in the league. In the 2023-24 season, he's averaging 25.0 points per game, along with 7. 2 rebounds and 7.9 assists. However, his Lakers are not performing as well as they'd hoped in the Western Conference.
James is often considered one of the best players in NBA history. He's used his unique size, athleticism, and skills to have an amazing career.

Many people compare him to Michael Jordan, one of the all-time greats. His ex-teammates have given us more insight into what has helped James throughout his successful career.
Earlier this week, Mario Chalmers and Thomas Bryant talked about his pregame habits and unusual practice rituals. Chalmers, a former Heat star who played with James from 2010 to 2014, spoke about the "OCD" that drives the four-time champion's superstitions.
"That man would lay out his outfit on the floor for the game and makes sure everyone walks around it," Chalmers said on a podcast by Playmaker. "One time the media walked over the jersey, and he snapped, and he made the equipment man get him a whole new jersey, shorts, tights, headbands, armband, and socks and laid right back out, like OCD superstition, like you better walk all the way around it like if it were a chalk outline."
Bryant, who played with James from 2022-23 before moving to the Denver Nuggets, shared that the basketball legend has his own special seat in the gym. It's just for him, even when he's not there.
Bryant laughed: "You know what's funny? He still has a seat. He has a seat right when you walk into the gym, and it was funny.
"One of the teammates was trying to sit there, and they were like, 'Ay, ay, ay, no, no, no, don't sit there; that's Bron's seat; sit in the other seat.' They were like, 'You serious? ' and he was like, 'Yes.'".
LeBron James, the top scorer ever in the NBA, is close to scoring over 40,000 points. Plus, he's working hard to get the Lakers into the playoffs again after a tricky season so far in the Western Conference.
