Charlotte Dawson said he seven-month-old son Jude was taken to the hospital for the second time due to Bronchitis.
The 31-year-old TV personality told fans it has been 'scary' dealing with the last 24 hours after he struggled to breathe. "Oh, guys, it's been a scary, crazy 24 hours again, with little monkey, my little cherub," she said on Instagram. "We're back in hospital. It's like deja vu, isn't it? With his bronchitis again.
"But he's not on oxygen this time. He obviously can fight it a lot better than he did when he was seven weeks. He's seven months now, he's just really chesty so we had to stay in hospital because of his breathing, his temperature was really high. It's been really scary again but so happy he can fight it better than when he was a baby but it's just crazy that he has got it again."
She also shared a picture of Jude taking a nap as she wrote: "Well it's been a whirlwind 24 hours. Like Dejavu being back here in the hospital with Jude!!" The tot was RSV Bronchiolitis, a viral chest infection that affects babies and children under two years of age and can be easily spread by coughs and sneezes, according to the NHS.
In October, Charlotte revealed Jude was rushed to A&E and stayed there on oxygen until he recovered. Celebs Go Dating star Charlotte said she had “no idea” about the common condition until doctors told her about it. Speaking about how common it is, she said: "It’s crazy how common this RSV virus is, this Bronchiolitis. So many people have been in the same boat and it’s like everybody said, it’s just not spoken about at all.
Brit 'saw her insides' after being cut open by propeller on luxury diving trip“I didn’t really know anything about it. I didn’t realise the effects of it or anything and so many people have been in the same situation as me. The doctors saying that it’s a cold and stuff and using our mother’s instinct and just knowing that our babies are aren’t right and getting here in the right time. It’s just so scary to see your baby go through this at such a young age.”
At the time, Charlotte visited the doctors along with Jude as she herself felt under the weather. Once at the appointment, they told her he was a bit 'chesty'. Charlotte said that her baby boy then began 'screaming in the night' and she became terrified. Charlotte then decided to bring her baby to the hospital.
