Kelly Brook still can't bring herself to watch video footage from her wedding day last year.
The model and TV presenter, 43, says she looked "completely stressed and with straggly hair" when she tied the knot with husband Jeremy Parisi and recalls her special day being "like something out of a sitcom".
Jeremy and Kelly - who was previously engaged four times before walking down the aisle - became husband and wife in Italy last July following a seven-year romance.
Looking back on their nuptials with Vicky Pattison, Kelly recalls her wedding party getting "pretty wet" thanks it raining ten minutes before the bride and groom exchanged their vows.
"We got ushered into this tower and it was like something out of a sitcom," the radio presenter remembers.
Jermain Defoe sparks marriage split fear after spending Christmas away from wife"There was a woman trying to carry a harp up five flights of stairs in this ancient tower. It haunts me still."
Speaking on The Secret To podcas t, Kelly continues to say: "It was like biblical rain, you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. It had not rained in that region for eight months and I don't think it has since.
"I look completely stressed and with straggly hair. Jeremy watches the wedding video all the time but I can't face it yet."
Before finding love with Jeremy and becoming a married woman, Kelly had previously been engaged to Jason Statham, Titanic actor Billy Zane, rugby player Thom Evans, and Gladiators star David McIntosh, but had never walked down the aisle.
Chatting to Vicky, the newly-wed adds: "From someone who never thought they would get married it was magic — the best thing I have ever done.
"We were winging it the whole way. It made it so much fun. And it gave it the essence and authenticity of it being Italian and that is what I really wanted. You can't have the rainbow without the rain."
Last year, before tying the knot, Kelly gushed about how she had finally found 'The One', or as she put it, The One "who can keep up" with her.
"We have the same kind of goals. Jeremy’s a family man. I love being with family. We just have a lot in common, and. he’s very handsome," she told the Mirror in April.
"He ticks all the boxes," the loved-up star continued. "And there weren’t many red flags with Jeremy, I have to say. And I know red flags! I used to chase red flags!"
The former party girl and lads' mags favourite went on to reveal how she had met her match in Jeremy, and praised the hunky Italian-French model for being able to keep up with her hectic lifestyle.
'My wife said she'd stop seeing fella at work but I keep catching them at it'"Jeremy and I don’t have a boring life. We’re always travelling, always busy," she explained.
"So it’s not about settling down because I’m certainly not settled. I’m just happy.
"I’ve found someone who can keep up with me and the lifestyle that I love. It’s the combination of having a very exciting life but also having moments where it’s nice to stay home, watch Netflix and walk the dog. It’s getting that balance."
