THOUSANDS of households are eligible to one-off energy vouchers that could help with their bills - and here's how you can claim yours.
Warwickshire County Council has urged families who are struggling with their utility bills to apply for the support now.
The voucher scheme has been provided by the government to local authorities to help families and individuals most in need.
As the cost of living has soared, the fund hopes to help households with:
- Food
- Energy
- Water
- Essentials linked to the above
- Other essentials, if necessary
Families and households in Warwickshire can apply whether they are users of pre-payment meters, pay by direct debit or on a receipt of an energy or water bill.

But the council has warned all applications for the payment must be made by March 22.
Residents who live in Warwickshire are advised to contact the Local Welfare Scheme team if they require confidential discussions about their situation.
Warwickshire County Councillor Heather Timms said: “We understand that the cost of household energy continues to present ongoing challenges for households.
“Through the Household Support Fund, we are able to offer some small relief and we urge Warwickshire residents to get in touch as soon as possible to find out more about making an application and enquire about other support that may also be available.”
Anyone who is currently entitled to benefits eligible free school meals has also automatically been offered this support package and will not have to make a further application.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has also been handing out free cash to help support hard-up Brits during cold spells.
Eligible households get the cash paid directly into their bank accounts within 14 days.
The cold weather payments are made in locations where residents experience continuous below-zero weather.
Households can get £25 during each seven-day period of low temperatures from November until March 31.
