Marcel Somerville's wife Rebecca Vieira has hinted that they are still together a month after she publicly apologised to him over the allegation that she had 'cheated' on him.

It was alleged in February that Rebecca, 28, had sent a nude photo and exchanged "flirty" messages with rapper Slim Jxmmi whilst married to Love Island finalist Marcel, 38. The latter was said to have moved out of their home as a result.

Rebecca admitted that she'd made a "huge mistake" and apologised to Marcel, whom she has been married to since 2022, in a post on Instagram last month. He later described the situation as a "betrayal" in a post on his own account.

Over weekend though, Rebecca seemed to hint that she's still in a relationship with Marcel. She took to the platform to share a photo of them alongside their son Roman, three. It showed the trio smiling as they posed together for a selfie.

Alongside the photo of the family, which she shared with her followers on Sunday, Rebecca wrote in the accompanying caption of the recent post: "Let everything you do be done in love, and let Easter fill your heart with joy and hope."

It comes after Marcel - who was once a member of group Blazin' Squad - shared a 'diss track' about the scandal, which he went on to delete. He later said about it: "[It] wasn't an attack, it was going to be my statement about the situation but it wasn't the best way to do it, I realised this after the fact which is why I chose to remove the snippet."

Following the release of the snippet, it had been reported that Rebecca had responded to the 'diss track'. She had shared a quote that read: "When your blessings are getting closer, your attacks become greater. Stay focused on God."

Rebecca issued a statement last month following the claim that she had 'cheated' on her husband Marcel. She wrote in a post: "By now most of you would have seen what's going on. I've made a huge mistake, I've embarrassed not only my husband but myself and both our families."

"My actions were foolish and have hurt so many people around us but most importantly my husband. I've said a lot of things that I shouldn't have and it was stupid of me so I won't sit here and justify my actions, those decisions should have never been made," she further commented.

The statement continued: "I want to publicly apologise to my Marcel, just as loudly as the rest of the noise. For all the hurt, embarrassment and pain I have put him through there is nothing and no one in the world that comes before you and our family. No-one could ever compare."

Rebecca, addressing her husband Marcel directly in the post shared last month, then added at the time: "I love you beyond measure, with no doubts, with no question, you are my beginning and my end my forever love. I love you."

Marcel later said in his own statement: "The last 3 weeks have rocked me to the core. There's no right way to handle betrayal and I've experienced so many feeling since everything happen that I feel a different emotion every hour of the day.

"Anger, Embarrassment, anxiety, depression, questioning my worth, loneliness, grief And some times those feelings coupled with the noise of having the whole world knowing my situation and everyone having opinions and telling me what I should do and not do can make you make choice in haste."

He continued: "The so called 'diss track' wasn’t an attack, it was going to be my statement about the situation but it wasn’t the best way to do it, I realised this after the fact which is why I chose to remove the snippet.

"I don't need to explain to the world how my heart is broken, because you already know, so what I'm going to do is take some time to heal and give my self some much needed peace. I'm going to choose me because a healed, mentally strong me is the best thing I can do for Roman. He's my No 1 priority forever.

"And every action I take from now will only be to maintain that peace and ensure Roman is happy. Any choices or decisions I make about me and Rebecca will be done in private and away from the circus that's been created which I was about to feed into before I caught myself. Peace and healing."
