Love Island winner Davide Sanclimenti was seen 'dishing out illegal hippy crack' to fellow party-animals at an after-party in Manchester this weekend, it has been reported.
In a video obtained by The Sun, the 2022 Love Island winner, 29, who won the ITV2 dating show alongside his ex-girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu appeared to use an air canister to prepare laughing gas balloons for fellow party-goers. The Italian native seemed in high spirits as he was seen laughing and giggling before offering out the balloons to a number of other people at the after-party.
Davide was seen offering out the balloons that allegedly had nitrous oxide in them. The Class C drug, which is commonly known as laughing gas, was re-classified in November 2023. Since then, users of the drug could face up to two years in prison. If someone is caught dealing it, they could face up to 14 years behind bars. With it comes a risk of loss of consciousness and suffocation due to lack of oxygen.
In recent months, Davide has been living it up and making the most of his single life following his split from Ekin-Su, 29, back in January. The pair had briefly split in the summer of last year, but they soon rekindled their romance before splitting for good at the beginning of the year.
After his shock split from Ekin-Su, Davide flew to Stockholm, Sweden for a date with Nicci Hernestig, who starred in her country's version of the show. Nicci, 24, gave birth to her first child just three months ago. She shares her baby with ex Andreas Deak.
Gemma Owen's mum makes cryptic 'fakery' dig after Love Island star's Luca splitThe Swedish beauty and Italian hunk Davide spent time getting to know each other this week and shared their outing on social media. However, this led to some backlash from online as Nicci has been brutally slammed by keyboard warriors. Some opinionated fans were upset to see Nicci dating so soon after becoming a mum. One fan commented on social media: "How do you even have so much time to be outside etc. when you have a newborn? Isn't the mother instinct there? I can't be without my daughter for even 1 hour without missing her."
Others questioned her choice of date, criticising Davide, whose hands could be seen in one of Nicci's photos. Another follower wrote: "When you are a mother, you have to think carefully about who you invite into your life." While another unimpressed Instagram user complained: "Really great to go out with a guy like that, when you have children."
Nicci met her ex Andreas on Love Island Sweden last year, but they broke up while she was pregnant with their daughter Chiara. Davide, who won Love Island UK in 2022 with Ekin-Su, had an 18-month relationship with the actress, who recently appeared on Celebrity Big Brother.
Ekin-Su announced their break up on Instagram, saying: "Unfortunately I have recently made the decision to end our relationship and to go our separate ways. Breakups are never easy. For any couple. And we hope that our privacy will be respected. I enjoyed our time together and the memories we made."
However, Davide said it was a mutual decision when he replied on social media: "Ekin and I, just after the ski holidays, decided to go different ways. It was a joint decision, but I was waiting to make it public to respect her time on the show. I don't know why the agreed statement changed last minute."
The Mirror has contacted Davide's representatives for comment on this story.
